Question 9

Can an eSIM Be Reinstalled?

Accepted Answer

**No, Commbitz eSIM can only be installed once.**

Once you install an eSIM on your device, it cannot be reused or reinstalled if removed or deleted. Each eSIM is designed for a one-time download and installation, which means that if you delete the eSIM profile from your device, you will need to request a new one from your eSIM provider.

Question 10

Can I Install The Same eSIM on Multiple Devices?

Accepted Answer

eSIMs are designed to work on a single device only. Once you activate an eSIM on a device, it becomes tied exclusively to that device and cannot be transferred or reused on another. This setup ensures that the eSIM stays securely linked to the intended user and device, protecting the integrity of your connection.

Here’s what you need to know about installing an eSIM:

**Single-Device Use**: An eSIM cannot be installed or reinstalled on multiple devices. After it’s activated on one device, it cannot be transferred to another.

**Non-Reinstallable**: If you delete or remove the eSIM profile, whether for troubleshooting, device upgrades, or any other reason, you will not be able to reinstall it on the same device or any other device. A new eSIM purchase is required to reconnect to the network.

**Best Practice Tip**: Before installing, double-check that you are setting up the eSIM on the device you intend to use for the duration of its validity period.
